A unique collaboration, about an unique icon. senz° x Van Gogh Museum have decided to work together to bring new life to the work of world’s most famous post- impressionist artist Vincent van Gogh. His outstanding works Almond Blossom and Seascape near Les-Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer are used as prints on the senz° umbrellas to create a collectors item.
Vincent van Gogh was enthusiastic about the colours of the Mediterranean Sea. He wrote that it ‘has a colour like mackerel, in other words, changing- you don’t always know if it’s blue, green or purple, because a second later, its changing reflection has taken on a pink or grey hue’. Vincent van Gogh to Theo van Gogh, Les-Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, on or about Sunday 3 or Monday 4 June 1888.
