Whether we wanted to collaborate with International Film Festival Rotterdam? Sales manager Michiel and brand manager Marinka didn’t think twice and immediately joined forces in this project. Enthusiastically we made a limited edition of senz° x IFFR storm umbrellas. Beautiful – and in this season very welcome – products for visitors of the film festival and the basis of a collaboration between two strong and innovative Dutch brands.
Each year, in the months January and February, Rotterdam becomes the place to be for anyone who loves quality movies. The broad scala of movies programmed ensures that IFFR welcomes more than 300.000 visitors every year. Both new talent and established artists claim a spot in the programme, several awards are handed out and there are many events like Q&A sessions, masterclasses and parties. In short, a festival not to be missed!
Like many cultural events IFFR depends on collaborations with different partners, amongst which de Volkskrant and Hivos. This year senz° was offered the opportunity to contribute our bit to this valuable happening in the vibrant city of Rotterdam, an opportunity we seized with both hands. Together with Filter Merchandise we developed an exclusive limited edition of senz° x IFFR storm umbrellas.
This special senz° x IFFR collection consists of a senz° smart stick and a foldable senz° smart s umbrella, available in both elegant black and bright silver. The prints are inspired by the IFFR 2016 theme, in which the iconic tiger is represented in a variety of forms. Forms that are created by the projection of light and space, the basis of film.
